The departure is near...

Well, I depart in a week, and the reality of my move is beginning to set in.

I've made an attempt to gather all of my important paperwork and guides together, and you can see I still have a bit of organizing to do:



As for packing, my room is currently not faring very well:



However, I've started doing laundry and selecting the clothes I'll be bringing with me. I anticipate a bit of a struggle packing everything I'll need for over five months in only two suitcases (with very stringent weight and size restrictions), but I think I'll manage.

By next week Nikki, my Scripps-college-classmate-and-awesome-cousin-travel-buddy who is attending the same program will arrive, and we'll leave LAX together. Next time I update I'll be in New Zealand!
